Hi,
I work in special education and I know that the general public doesn't really have a clue to what a seizure is. They think that only people with disabilities have them. When I tell them that I have seizures as well they look at me in amazement. I agree that there is not enough publicity or research about and for epilepsy. If it was broought to the forefront then more people would understand. It would also help if TV programs would not use a "typical" grand mal seizure every time.
