:I am a 25 year old woman and I have been diagnosed with a seizure disorder since the time I was three. However, because my seizures are
so random, my neurologist took me off of my medication when I was 10. (I was on Phenobarbitol at the time.)
Five years later, I had another seizure from what the doctors said was lack of sleep. I am now on
Tegretol XR and feel much safer knowing that my random seizures are under control. I would
think twice before taking him off his medication. Maybe start weaning him from it, however, he could have
the same problem I had years down the road. Good luck and God bless. Stephanie
