: I think someone should put a website up about the real deal about epilepsy. The crap they put on the internet is shit. It isn't true. I read on one site that one with epilepsy may not be able to get a higher education, keep a job, get married, and have kids. That is SO not true!! I'm in a very loved relationship, maintaining a job and have straight 'a's in school. Where do all these dumb peole get this crap??? Anybody with me?? If so, e-mail me.
I completely agree with you. My siezures started when I was 19 years old. I am currently taking Mysoline, Clonazapin and believe it or not Prozac. The Prozac is to stimulate the serratogin in my brain. I am currently 40 years old, have a great job, am Vice President and General Manager or an electronics company, travel around the world, drive, and have been married for 17 years. My siezures were pretty bad when I was younger, but now they are called "speech arrests". pretty mild stuff. I wish more people would understand that people with epilepsy try harder then "normal" people, just to prove that they can do it. I have two homes, one on the Colorado River (3400 square feet) and the other about 3500 square feet on 2 1/2 acres in Menifee. I make about $200,000.00 a year in bonus's and salary and am very proud of everything I do, infact, I support my husband!.
