When my son was born in march of 98 we got to take him home 3 days after he was born.We ended up taking him to his doctor the next day because that night he was gagging and gasping. We found out he had a blood level of 14(death) and was put in the NICU of our hospital. From there we learned that he was having brain siezures and physical siezures. He had an EEG and an MRI done the MRI came back fine but the EEG came back showing some kind of problem. They stopped all siezures with Ativan and valium shots. We got to come home a week later but he had lots or reaccuring siezures. He has been on Phenobarbatol and Tegretol. The doctors are trying to get him off the Phenobarb and are lowering his dose because of attitude problems and others, but every time they do this he has a cluster of siezures and ends up back in the hospital. If any one has a child with a simular problem please e-mail me and let me know your outcome.Im just looking for anyone because I cant seem to find anyone with a simular problem. thanks Rashall
