I started having seizures in 1983 when I was 14. I did not have a final diagnosis until 1992 when went to McLane Hospital in Belmont, Massachusetts for a "Beam Scan" this process is like the EEG only they glue the leads to your head and use a "beam" of light to check the reflexes of the eyes and the brain. I have been almost seizure free since 1992 but I have been on 2 different types of meds Tegretol, and Depakote. Both of these meds make you extremely tired, lithargic, and cranky. My advice that works for me is to double your exercise program, DON"T DRIVE AT NIGHT, sleep a minimum of 9+ hours, and stay away from stressful situations. Stressful situation can bring on a seizure very quickly without triggers or warnings. I hope this helps you, it's not curable but you can change your life to ignore it.
