I have something similiar. I have a type of seizure where I'm "out of it" for just a split second. If I'm standing, sometimes I fall down, but recover by the time I hit the floor. It's as quick as a sneeze, though sometimes afterwards I get the feeling that you get right after a grand mal seizure, when your brain can't make sense of anything. I believe my Neuro called these either Atonic or drop seizures. I started taking Depakote for them, and they seem to be aggravated by hormonal changes during ovulation/ menstruation.My Neuro added Lamictal daily, and I take a little extra when I know I'll be needing it.
