seizures. The first when I was 19 and the second when I was 24. I had gone off the dilantin for about 9 months and then the second seizure occured. Both seizures were while I was asleep. All EKG and other tests were normal both times. There was no explanation as to why I had either seizure. I've been on dilantin continually since 1985 with no problems. Do I have epilepsy? The doctor used that word once but that was just after the second seizure. Until I heard him say it I didn't know he considered what I had epilepsy. I see him every 3 years now.
