My daughter has complex partial and generlized seizure. She is only 8 years old. We have tried several differnt meds. At present time she is onCarcatrol 400mg twice a day and Lamictal 10 mg twice a day. She also has the Vgal Nerve Stimulator. The VNS has only been turned on for about a week. We found that the meds weren't helping enough. We tried several differnt kinds of meds over the past 4 years. I know deep down insude she will never be able to drive. As long as she is on meds I do not want her to drive. You never now what miht happen. I have seen her have a seizure to many times because she had a bad day a school or something like that, any thing can trigger hers. I wish you the best of luck with your daughter. Talk tp her doctor about the chances obfher ever being able to drive.b
