: My daughter has complex partials since she was 19--they have continually upped her medicine--she just has had three in three days which is unusal for her---two in a.m. and 1 in evening. The doc just upped her dose of lacmtil to 200--says that is low and the tegretol is 12000----I don't know what is happening. Has anyone had the same thing. She can't drive yet. What do you feel about the med
I have been taking tegretol for several years with no success. I can't tolerate high doses.
I now take a combination of tegretol and lamictal. 500 mg tegretol and 300 mg lamictal.
I have been seizure free for 8 months. I now drive! Lamictal was the wonder drug for me.
But remember, every one reacts different. Hang in there. It always gets better.
