: : I have a friend who is on neurotin and has epilespy. Her doc. upped the mg.from 500 to 800 3x a day and she is now paranoid, so paranoid I'm afraid to leave her alone. Help >>Please>>!!! Carolyn
: I understand that she is frightened. Is the neurontin working for her? If not, tell her to ask the doctor about Tegretol. That could work for those who don't react to neurontin. God bless and stay strong! JOE

: My son was put on neurontin, and the dosage was upped and upped. It was his first medicine and very ineffective for him and expensive for us. He didn't develop any paranoia. Switched to Tegretol and got pretty good seizure control with no side effects. Tess
