I had seizures from my teenage years until around the age of 26 then they stopped suddenly. I didn't have any for 7 years and now they have started up again just as suddenly as they had stopped. All my eegs, cat scans, mri's, etc. all looked normal, I never had an illness or head injury, nothing to pin point why they started then and why they have returned now. I have had 8 seizures in last 3 days. You need to be educated about epilepsy, seizures, etc. it is not that uncommon for people to get seizures and not know why. You need to know how to explain this to your family and friends so you can get maximum support from them. You also need to start thinking about the possiblity that you might not be able to start driving yet. There have been several times in my life when I have had to surrender my drivers liscense. I just got told by the dr. today not to do any driving until they followup on me and get my seizures under control with medicines again. It is a long road and not always an easy one. Be
open and honest about your feelings and get a good support group going you will need it.
