: I have recently been diagnosed with partial complex seizure disorder. I am getting mixed messages from my physician and nurse practitioner on how long I have to wait to drive, and whether I need to report my seizures to the Department of Motor Vehicles. How long do you have to wait in New York State and is it reportable to the DMV? Any information would be appreciated!
Every state is Different on times..in Georgia its one year..some states are between 3-6 months.
There are a few that have no waiting time.In georgia the Dr doesnt turn anything in..you just have to sign a paper stating he told you what time was.
I used to have a web site..i'll see if i can find it for you.
