: : : I am currently taking dilantin for a seizure I had back in december. I was told by my neurologist that I can drink in moderation(1 or 2 beers when i go out) but I could not ask him about smoking marijuana. I would like to know if it would be harmful to smoke marijuana while on dilantin. Any info? thanks

: Well, I am not a doctor, but I do smoke. Dilantin is/can be very difficult to tolerate. My neuro's know I smoke, for me I am able to eat and sleep. The stuff wires me out, so I smoke to gear down and so food takes good enough to eat it. Do tell your neuro, it's important your neuro knows everything!

The last time I saw a neurologist, he recommended a prefrontal lobotomy and a left temporal lobectomy. As for marijuana, the doctor stated that it is illegal. Thank Pierre Trudeu, for our Canadian Human Charter of Rights, which assisted in striking down our marijuana laws as unconstitutional. Marijuana is the best anti-convulsant ever to exsist. I have not suffered a seizure since Oct-1997. I cannot say the same for unauthorized psychosurgery and pharmaceuticals.
