Hi Aline,
Epilepsy is a really scary disease, especially as you get older and your body begins to change anyway.
There is so much about Epilepsy that we don't know or understand, not to mention all of the different medications.
It's amazing to me that we take millions of different medications that are designed to treat an illness, not a specific person.
I know I'm not the only person that has a body that has changed over the years, I have allergies that I never had as a child, now they consume me. I can't imagine that
serious medications like Dilatin prove to remain successful on all people over the years. Have you heard of the Human Genome Project or the Gene Trust?
These are the programs that are going to be able to find solutions for people who may be sensitive to a certain medication over the years. I think that will change so much
for all of us. No more taking 7 different medications everyday, just one pill that will give our special bodies all that they need. These are great times to be alive.
Sorry for rambling.
Sally
