: My son is ten and a half months old and had a seizure and I want answers.
: It all started one Monday. That day me,my husband, and son stayed out all day having fun. That evening we went to pick up our daughter from school. Got home and my children were in the living room playing while me and my husband was cooking dinner. My son laid on the floor to take his regular nap for the evening I checked on him every few minutes to make sure he was not on his stomach. When me and my husband was finished cooking I called my daughter into the kitchen to fix her plate. After I fixed her plate I went into the living room to eat myself that when I notice my son laying on the floor twiching. I called his name but no response,so I rolled him over and his eyes were fixed staring straight up. I screamed for my husband and we took him to the closest medical office. They called the hospital and they came to get him. When we got to the hospital which didn't take much more than five minutes the doctor checked him and said that he had stopped breathing. They rushed him to the trumma unit. They told us that they had to put a tub down his throat to keep him breathing and was going to fly him to Jackson. He got up there and they put him on alot of medicine to make the seizure stop. When it did he stayed in PICU for a day then moved into a room. I can't tell you how many test they did and nothing showed up. A few days later he was discharged with medication to give him if he has another one. I can't tell you how many sleepless nights I have had because no one can tell me why this happen and why it was so bad. If anyone can feel my pain please write.
