: Has anyone ever noticed having seizures after
eating something very sweet? I have, but not
everytime. However I am positive there is a
connection. Recently I became aware of a diet
that porports eating fats and proteins before
eating carbohydrates. This tends to buffer the
effects of the carbohydrates(sugar) and therefore
you are suppose to eat less. I am trying this
diet out not to lose weight but to see if it
effects my seizures. So far it looks like it may
have a definate positive effect but it is way too
soon to celebrate.
: I don't believe this is the Ketogenic diet
as that diet is very strict, but this one has a
lot of leeway to it
I started on an allergy free, high fat diet with lots of fried foods balancing my carbos for the last 7 yrs and it does well for me. and when I throw my system on overload be it too much suagr or an allergic reaction to something I then have auras or a full blown PC, BTW I havent had a weight problem from it at all.
Good luck to you
