: Info on crainiotomy and surgery to treat siezures in a healthy male 20 years old.
: Having leg jerking for over 2years.
: currently taking 400mg dilantin.
: Tried teg.&lamictal no help.

My doctor wants me to have surgery also, but only because I was at my ENT doctor one day (at the same hospital) and I was having seizures that day and just had one. Therefore I was able to have an EEG and they were able to EXACTLY pinpoint the source of my seizures in my brain that they were coming from. That was the only way that they would even consider the surgery. It's a long recovery, but with the advances in medicine every day, it might not be as long as, say 5 years ago. This might not be any help, but I hope things work out. Dee
