: I was wondering if a person knows he is having a seizure when it is happening or after it is over. How do they feel, during and after. I have a young child that can't tell me what is going on when he has seizures and I would like to know more about what he is going thru. Thank you!!!
You need to ask your childs Nero that question he or she would be the one with the answers. There are many different kinds of seizures and the signs and feelings before, during and after are different for many.
I can tell you mine, before mine starts I get this strange feeling in my stomach, it's called an (Ora) then my head feels faint and I feel like I want to get ill.
I have learned through the years to find someplace to lay down, the only thing I remember is waking up feel very heavy and sleepy.
My husband tells me and the doctor that I curl up into a ball and become stiff.
I also have seizures when I am out in stores or other places that are different than the one I talked about before. I feel nothing when it happens, when I come out I have no idea how I got to were I am, this is the one that I do not like.
Good luck in finding answers, I gave you a little insight to my seizures.
