: Hi,
: I have a story behind this question, I'm not going to tell it because I would take up to much of your time.

: Ok I take- Tegretol 800mg daily
: Clonazepam 4mg daily
: Zoloft 225mg daily
: Trazodone 300mg bedtime
: I have seizures, depression and I am hypothyroid.
: My life is not my own and I am not the same person I was before my seizures started, I want myself back, to the person that everyone says I was. I am unable to remember what that person was like. This all started in 1983.
: That is why I ask this question.

: HOW MUCH MEDS CAN THE BRAIN TAKE?

I think that's an excellent question but one that no one can really answer. Each individual is different. My daughter has been on a variety of medications for years. Her doctor is constantly seeking ways to control her seizures with minimal side effects. He once told me it was like making a pot of chicken soup. You have to mix the right ingredients and with the right amounts to get the desired effect. Or put another way, it's a balancing act. Good luck!
