: : Joy,
: : Thank you for responding. You said to e-mail you, I don't know your e-mail address. Our daughter Holly seemed to have had a full seizure for her first one. Have you read about Vit.B6 or magnesium? I have read that some people seem to lack these and can have seizures? I was not aware that seizures could cause brain damage. How did you know your son was having a seizure so early in the morning? Did he make a sound? Holly had hers at 11:00 p.m. while she was falling asleep. My other daughter saw her and told us! I have other questions, but I better not get too long here.

Hi:
I tried this once before let me try again. My 11 year old has been recently diagnosed with Rolandic seizures as well. I myself have lived with epilepsy for 12 years but was surprised to find my son had the condition as well. He seems to manafest his in a different way than your daughter, his eyes dialate and some saliva is aparnet out of the corners of his mouth. He has this happen several times a day, too many to count accurately. They put my son on carbitol but I have not seen a significant change as of yet. It's only been a little over twenty days now and the doctors tell me it could take as long as three months to really take affect. I found an interesting web site with alot of information, it may be helpful for you as well. It's epilepsyontario.org. If ever you want to talk feel free to drop a line. I know support can only help a stressfull situation.
Marie
