I have a question, I have heard that a small percentage of people who have multiple sclerosis go on to develope epilepsy. How does this happen when MS involves demyelination in the white matter and epilepsy involves the rapid uncontrolled firing of neurons in the cortex. I think that my doctor is considering the possibility that I have MS, but my symptoms are more suggestive of some type of partial seizure. Every EEG that I have had done has been normal, and during the last EEG I had what I suppose was a very mild seizure but it did not show up either, the results were normal my doctor said.
