: I've noticed a link between mild dehydration and the number of seizures I have. I become seizure free when I consume less water! I know it's important to drink enough water however. It's amazing but my neuro doesn't give it any credibility. I don't know if drinking too much water flushes out key nutrients or some other reason but drinking too much water definitely increases my seizures. Anyone else notice this?

Yes, Steve, my son stopped having seizures for 3 months when he stopped eating/drinking his usual amount due to chronic illness. It wasn't until his urine tests proved dehydration (specific gravity level was the highest that the nephrologist had ever seen)that we had to force him to drink more. Then the seizures returned and the dose was increased. I find your comment very interesting and I will bring it up w/ his doctor. Always looking for hints. Thank you.
