I've noticed several posts requesting info/opinions on BowFlex, Chuck Norris Gyms and similar gadgets. Think about this: have you ever noticed how many of these type of items pop up for sale at yard and garage sales? That's because they either don't work or the original owners find out they are not getting the intense workouts needed to produce results. Please heed my advice because your wallet will appreciate it: no long-lasting positive effects on your body will result from these contraceptions. They are made cheap and marketed high dollar to sell you an image of a Mr. Olympia or Ms. America and folks, they don't work. Save your money to join a commercial gym or to outfit your own home gym with free weights and dumbbells. If machines make you feel safer, join a commercial gym because some of those machines can produce long lasting results, although not as well as free weights. Don't fall for those slick advertisements where they hire conditioned bodybuilders to pose and work out on those pieces of junk. The only short cuts to a fit and healthy body are hard, consistent work, patience, and a sound diet. You will get results without being ripped off. Hope this helps...
