I'm sorry to hear about your troubles. stomach pain is very common in running. I have been a competive running at the Universty of colorado for the last four years and have had those pains myself. Stomach cramping is not always caused by stomach problems. More commonly it is from the way you breath. especially when you are starting out. One thing that works for me is to concentrate on my breathing pushing my belly out when I breath in and pull it in when I breath out. it has worked for many people that I know. Regardless if this works for you. The cramping will go away if you stick it out, once your body learns what you are doing. It will compinsate on it's own. Good luck and let me know how it goes.
