No one is "unhelpable!" Regarding your pains in knees and calves; when did you last have a physical? Get that done so there's no doubt about physical limitations. Your diet must change or your body won't. You don't need radical changes and don't attempt it overnight. You will develop a taste for healthy food when you see your body starting to change like you want it to. Perhaps you could join a women's gym although I don't always recommend that. Some of these type of gyms discourage women from using free weights in the belief that somehow it's not good for you. Remember that a woman's muscle fibers are the same as a man's; difference is in male hormones and bone structure. But it will respond to a correct progressive resistance training whether done at home or in a gym. Good luck and keep me updated...
