: John,
: how are you? the board seems to be slow lately, do you think its the time of year?
: Anyway John i took your advise from last month and did nothing different than my regular fitness programme, and continued to eat the same kinds and amounts of food and what do you know i lost another 5lb's ! Do i feel good about that, oh yeah, thanks for putting me straight, if i hadn't asked you i would have probably spent the month trying new "fads" which we all know are not permanent, anyway i am really delighted its not even about the weight anymore really its about feeling good, and eating well. I really enjoy my workouts especially the weight training, i am commited to keep it as part of my daily life and i don't and never did feel deprived and i can honestly say its the first time (there have been many where i lost weight and gained it back) i decided to do it sensibly and in no rush, the difference this time is determination and wanting a healthier life and keeping it that way. John, i just wanted to let you know and thank you for your support and for replying to my posts, i will continue to read your posts and keep you up to date with my program,

: continued good health
: Linda

Hi Linda,
I can safely say you "have arrived" when it comes to fitness. By understanding that fad diets are a temporary solution at best and that realizing it is all about feeling good and eating well you are reaping the benefits of such a life style. Congratulations! There is no feeling in the world that can equal that of reaching your fitness goals whether it's losing weight or gaining weight. It gives a person such a boost of confidence...I am glad I could be of help. And yes, I agree; this board seems a bit slow. Perhaps the holiday eating is affecting folks? Let's see what happens in January when the holiday treats are done and people make New Year's resolutions! Linda, continued good luck and it's my pleasure to help you with your fitness program. Have a great Christmas...
JOHN
