The test entails inserting a catheter in your muscle, measuring the pressure with saline solution in the catheter, walking or running on a treadmill until it hurts, then measuring the pressure again, and as the pain diminishes. It really wasn't too bad. I had both legs done. I was on crutches by the afternoon and for a week. I really started walking too soon. (I walked a mile the weekend after I got the staples out) So I would recommend taking it easy for a couple of weeks--especially if you are running. Good luck and keep posting!
