I'm 21 years old and had the operation done in May on the large compartment, before my problems started I used to to up to eight hours of dancing a week (ballet, tap and all the rest), so my problem was purely sport related.
Since my operation on the 10th May 1999 I have gradually built myself up with little or no pain, I don't do as much as before only one hour of dancing and two hours of netball.
I don't see there's anything to worry about having the operation because I wouldn't be able to do anything at all without it.
