: : My body fat percentage is 23.1 waist 13, Back 14, arms 19. As you can see my arms are carrying more fat than
: : the rest of my body. Any suggestions??? I do cardio (4 times a week)and weight training (2 to 3 times a week).
: Go "low fat," i.e. read labels on food products you buy and avoid those high in saturated fats. I went on a "low fat" diet 8 weeks ago because my cholesterol was way too high. In those 8 weeks (I also jog 30 to 35 miles per week) I lost 23 pounds and lowered my cholesterol 106 points, just by going drastically reducing my fat intake. (I also used Niacin, 1500 mgs. per day.) However, I feel better than ever and am running/jogging much, much better than the "plodding" I was reduced to previously because of my 20+ lbs. of excess weight. To paraphrase Horace Greeley: "Go Low Fat, young lady."
lo fat does NOT mean good lipid profile! you lowered it with niacin, but this destroys your liver. avoid sugar and high glycemic carbs, and DO take olive oil, borage or primrose oil and fish oil caps.
