Laurabolin! Lol just kidding...that's a steroid that supposedly really makes your joints feel a lot better. Seriously though, I would echo what Connie said. Swimming is VERY good for those knees. It offers a form of resistance that is really unmatched anywhere. It's a strong resistance, but not a herky jerky one that could cause more tears and so forth. I have taken up swimming and found that it really doesn't feel like you're getting a workout while you're doing it...but as soon as you get out and dry off and relax after a shower, you feel tired as crap and KNOW that your body worked for it.
