Anyways, i'm interested in your research. What did you find. I've been on a ketosis diet for a while now and i lost A LOT of weight...too much in fact. I was 205 and wanted to get down to about 185, 5-7% body fat...well, i ended up at 170 6%bf. I'm trying to get my weight back up now so the ketosis diet is out the door.
For those who don't know, ketosis is a diet whereas you eat nearly ZERO carbs, HIGH protein and moderate fats. You can test whether or not your body has gone into 'ketosis' by using Ketostick. I usually get into ketosis after about 3-4 days of zero carbs. Of course on saturdays i replinish my carbohydrate reserves.
Warning to those considering this: IT IS DANGEROUS TO YOUR LIVER and is a QUICK FIX. the only reason i did it is b/c i know i can keep the weight off thru my training. For the average person, the weight you lose will come back very very quickly.
Anyways, i'm very interested in the research you did connie, not b/c i think you're wrong, but b/c i think i'm sick of eating tuna :)
