Well trust me, it's not that easy, even for guys to get "big and bulky". It sure would be nice if it was. The huge "muscle-women" you see on TV and in mags have years and years of HARD scientific training combined with KILLER genetics and/or anabolic sterhoids. You are not going to look anything like that just by doing 3 sets of squats once a week (Wouldn't lots of people look like that then?). If you want results anytime soon, do squats. Most exercises that target the butt are "toning" exercises, not "mass-building" ones. These are fine if you want to tone what you already have, but you sound to me like you want to add something that isn't there already.
