Think twice about it man. Anybody can make gains the first year or two when they lift. After that , it gets a lot harder. At that point, a lifter needs to use his brain as well as his body. There are many "tricks" a lifter can use to continue to make moderate gains even after this begginning time. A trick I use a lot is to vary the weight and reps. for example, on the bench press I will go heavy (4 reps) untill I stop making gains (usually 3-4 months) then i will go light (8 reps). If your body gets comfortable with your routine it will not grow. You have got to continually shock your body by giving it training it is not expecting. There are many other "tricks" a lifter can use so I would
recommend you do some internet research or buy a book on the subject.
