In order to lose weight and gain muscle tone, I have been working out 5-6 times a week on a bike or treadmill for 45 minutes, and 3 times a week lift weights. It is important to put a day or two between lifting sessions because your muscles need the time to rest. You will build better muscle and not get hurt. I have lost ten pounds this month, so it's working for me! Good luck!!
