Over the last month I've had a huge increase in the number/size of visable floaters in the eye. I saw a doctor about it 2 days ago and the nurse scheduled an appointment for me to see the ophthomologist in 2 weeks. However, the flashes of light/sparkles have just began recenlty over the last day or two, and I see them sometimes. Its posssible it could be a retinal tear/detachment. Is it good to wait the two weeks or is it too long?
