I had the same problem with dry eyes and found that my lower eyelid was sagging. The dry eyes was certainly related to late nights sitting in front of a computer screen. The sagging eye lid I am not sure. Age?
Any way, if you want to get rid of the glare and low refresh rates that are so often a problem with screens, do what I did and buy a digital screen (LCD). Sure, expensive, but solved the problem. Thery have no radiation and no refresh ratge problem. Very comfortable viewing.
