If anyone can give me info. on this topic I would greatly appreciate it. I just found out that my mother had a thinning of the retina and had a tear in one of her eyes. She has never previously had troubles with her eyes, she is 20/20. I want to know if this will affect her vision severely or if there are ways to avoid any loss of vision. She is a painter and she'd rather lose an arm than her sight. Please if you have any info. you can e-mail it to me. Thank you...
