Hi mike i have the same problem and the twitch seems to happen due to stress. It can also happen when you constantly force your eyes too much or if you have dry eyes. Eventually it goes away but it can come back. I've lived with this for about 3or 4 years and the twitching might start for about 3 or 4 weeks and it'll go away for about 1 or 2 months, and then it'll come back. Im used to it its just embarrasing when youre talking to someone and suddenly your eyelid starts twitching.
My advice is try to relax your eyes more, dont sqwint if you can help it. This is just my experience with it. You should still try to speak with a doctor to be sure it's not something else. I hope this helped..bye
