I have just been told that this is the condition that i suffer from. The first episode was as long as 5 years ago. They are at irregular intervals and sometimes I will go several months inbetween occurences. They never last more than 30 minutes and sometimes only 10 to 20 minutes. They are always preceded by a dead spot in my vision that seems to be centered in the very middle of my sight. I was told that there was not much I can do about it and that I may never have another one. I am going to try the coke and or aspirin solution though because it seems as though this would have a positive effect on the restricted blood vessel and enhance the blood flow. Good luck to all.
: : I am just wondering if anyone has ever heard of optic migraine, I kind of lost my peripheral vision, then saw a sparkle show, then it went away. I am now absolutely petrified. A friend of mine had similar symptoms and her opthamologist told her she had, optic migraines. I have been searching for some info. about it. Please help if you can. I am scared to death and a nervous wreck. Please help. Thanks
: Yes, I have been experiencing such optic migraines for over two years. My opthamologist has assured me that everything is o.k. with my eyes, but I've still been quite concerned.
