Hi,

I'm doing some research for my dad who does not have net access.

Last week he had minor surgery for a drooping eyelid (he is 70 years old). A few days later his eye became very irritated. It quickly became worse. He went to see his doctor who told him it was due to an infection. He was put on antibiotics and given some injections into the eye. The condition has gotten to the point where his cornea has clouded over and he is no longer able to see out of the eye. He has been told that it is a very serious condition and that the chance of a full recovery is small.

As you can imagine, he is very depressed.

Please give me your thoughts on this and
(a) what the treatment options are (to restore his vision),
(b) the time frame for these conditions to resolve and,
(c) what the best and worst case scenarios are.

Thank you very much!

Manuel Robalino
