: Monocular diplopia (double vision in one eye) is more likely caused by uncorrected refractive errors (such as astigmatism) than anything else. Do you wear glasses? Is your prescription current? If you have astigmatism, you might want your eye doc to re-check your glasses' prescription.
Thank you for your response. I have seen an optomistrist and he has given me a new prescription; however, I still think it is a rare, but documented problem with adalat blood pressure pills because of over problems I am having. Hot potatoes no longer feel hot when I hold them. I have lost some of the feeling in my hands. I visited the doctor today and she feels that I am on the right track. Once this has been eliminated then I will consider getting the perscription for glasses filled, but my gut feeling tells me that my eyes are not where the problem orginates. Thanks again. It is nice to have a response.
