I'm 48 I have some Progressive Lens in my glass.A little to see far & more to see & read near. The Doctor said i could wear Reading glasses (225 power) to work & play on the Computer, so i can look straight at the computer. He said it was OK.I just got back into Fitting & Welding (Aluminum). I used the reading glasses to tack (under my Welding Shield)(my dark lens is a #11 very dark, that's what we use. If I stay in the area I keep them on.If I walk around & can use my other glasses I do. OH.the reading glases don't hurt or stain my eyes to work or see .I do notice that things about 60 to 70 feet away is a little buriey
(But I try not to look that far). But It doesn't hurt my eyes.NOW the Question is with spend $300 dollars to buy some Phraciption Safey Glasses? Or I could go buy some cheaper(Regular Phraciption) Glasses at one of those you know $59 Eye place.Or is this not a good Idea? Thanks for the Help>>Or will it be OK to just use the Reading glases. Will this be OK?
1 more question? Can wearing those reading glasses make my eyes go worse?I aready know in the long run welding is not good for you.But it doesn't Stain or hurt my eyes.
