I have experienced these optic migraines - they last for about 45 minutes - coming on slowly with Picasso like vision at first - the person I am talking with suddenly has one eye...or a misaligned face...that is usually my first clue - then I also get a light show - in an arc form - lots of colors and vibrance - by this time I know there is something amiss.. on occasion I will have a sinus pressure that is pretty intense - then gradually, this all subsides. the first time I had one I thought I had a brain tumor - but my optician said that he sometimes gets them when he is in an incredibly streeful situation, or has eaten food with MSG or lots of salt in it. I am relieved to read that others have experienced this odd event. - Susie
