: : I have had red eyelids since I was a child. It was diagnosed as Blepharitis , and I was told to clean the area with baby shampoo and a q-tip. The skin around the eyelid is very sensitive , and will remain extremely red after any kind of rubbing etc. Of course , functioning in life with completely red eyelids is not an option. Over the past few years I have been using a dry skin colored cover-up powder on the eyelids to hide the redness. This works a little , but has to be re-applied several times a day.Anyone have any other suggestions/ ideas on looking "normal" with this chronic problem?
: I think I have it too! Does it swell up when you play sports, sweat, and swim? Also, does it get puffy? Please let me know.
: Thanks,

It does get swollen after swimming , i think from the chlorine , but after sports is ok. Actually, it is the worst in the morning after waking up. When sweating from playing sports , the sweat could affect it but i dont really think that is a big deal, its the chronic redness that annoys me.. i mean , after all... its embarresing... people think you have been drinking or didnt sleep all night.
