I had surgery in March (2000), to remove a scar similar to a ptygerium from the conjunctiva of one of my eyes, My eyelids are STILL slightly puffy and darker! Does this ever go away? Is this unusual? The puffyness is on the top and bottom eyelid, and I have visible blood vessels that were not there before the surgery running along my eyelid. I am very upset about this, because I did not want to just trade one cosmetic concern for another (The ptygerium apperance isn't any better either!)...Does anyone have any advice? I still put ice on it, even though I feel stupid since it has been so long. I saw my doctor, he agreed it is still swollen, but says nothing other then to just wait...How long should I wait? Can someone offer me any advice, or possible treatment? I`m only 24, I was 23 when I had the surgery..
