: Jack - I just had a Opthalmic Migraine that ended about 5 minutes ago. I like your theory about low blood sugar - I hadn't eaten since cereal this morning at 6:30 (now 3:00)Wham! Thinking back on the few I've had recently, low blood sugar would really figure in.
: "My theory: Light triggers them - flourescent light or bright glares etc. and low blood sugar or a combination of all."
: I'm with your light trigger theory. I've been keeping a log of attacks for 3 years now - what I ate, stress levels, what I was doing at the time etc.. and the only common factor I can find is sudden exposure to a bright light - although not 100% of the time. another pattern I see is that I get few attacks from april to Sep/Oct, then get most of them over the Autumn/Winter months.
