I have used Proclear contacts and I thought they were very comfortable (I also have dry eyes). I wore them for a couple of years, until PureVision contacts came out. They are disposable contacts that you wear for 30 days, taking out only once a week for cleaning. You can even sleep in them. They are definately the MOST comfortable contacts I have ever had. They are also good for people with dry eyes. They cost a bit more, but are worth it.

: I have been unable to wear contact lenses comfortably for some time due to dry eyes. I recently read about the Proclear line of contacts which are made from what is supposedly a more bio-compatible material, and which have been allowed by the FDA to be labeled as possibly useful for patients with drier eyes. I'm wondering if anyone on this board wears these lenses and has an opinion one way or the other.
