I am a 66 year old male with diabetes. About a year ago my right eye became blurry. I was told that a blood vessel had burst and prescribed eye drops. It cleared in a couple of weeks.
About two weeks ago a similar (but not neccessarily the same) condition occured. The effects are most noticeable when watching tv particularly newscasters. Their heads seem distorted and 'pinched' rather like a caricature. Does anyone know what causes this?
Incidentally, does anyone know how much it cost to have a cataract removed privately in England or France?
