Make sure you get into an optimologist asap. If it is a foreign object, even lint from your pillow, an infection from that would be far worse than the pain you have now. He has the specialized equipment to see, even right through to behind your eye. Good luck and let me know what the doc said!

: This morning I woke up with constant aching pain behind my left eye and tenderness around the eye orbit. The aching gets worse when I blink, it doesn't feel like I have gotten anything in it, the discomfort is behind the eye. Does anyone have any idea what this could be??
