There is a Center for Hereditary Eye Disease at
John Hopkins. Dr. Irene Maumanee sits on the Board for the National Marfan's Foundation and removes the lenses and then sutures a replacement to the whites of the eyes. The procedure is done at other locations througout the US as well. My sister-in-law had it done and sees much better. She had it done in Wisconsin.
